23-30% seen on a high performance Windows 10 computer...

Might be an underlying flutter bug, or some windows specific code.

Windows also marks Cwtch has using High Power (this seems to be regardless of actual cpu usage)

I saw a continuous 4-5% CPU usage on my 5950X w/3080 which is unusual for an idle app. Power usage was shown as "Very High" still. tor.exe didn't consume any CPU at all.

This is what I'm seeing when not actively using the application. It's burning through the battery pretty hard.

Ah thanks for that link! @dan I think that we do need to regenerate the windows-specific code as mentioned at the bottom of that post - something to prioritise and test.
