message pane currently sets size to storage message size, which creates a HUGE scroll bar and very slow loading when scrolling

proposed that a much smaller initial cap is set in the future builder to like 60-100, and as scrolling reaches the top only then is it increased, similar behaipur can be seen in apps like whatsapp and signal for reference

of note, if/when adding search, this will need to pop to at least where message seek sends us
