request for default "Save History" for new contacts #493

Would it be possible to add a preference setting to make the default for new contacts to Save History?

Suppose I have a published Cwtch address with my intention being that strangers can reach me anonymously. They message me their first message, but I do not see the message/open the app right away. Cwtch is then closed/"logged out" (eg my phone's OS shuts down Cwtch, which can happen frequently for some users). Sometime later, I re-open Cwtch and see the message request from the stranger which arrived before Cwtch shutdown. But the contents of whatever they sent me are gone. If they are not aware of this particular implication of how Cwtch works, they may also assume I have received the message.

So, for this use-case, it may be nice to set a default "Save History" for new contacts/new messages.

Hi, thanks for opening this issue. This is definitely something we should do. Tracking the actual implementation here: cwtch.im/cwtch-ui#629
