Delete Branch "%!s(<nil>)"
Deleting a branch is permanent. Although the deleted branch may continue to exist for a short time before it actually gets removed, it CANNOT be undone in most cases. Continue?
I recently updated Cwtch on my android phone to v1.11.0 and I have experienced numerous issues. This is on a pixel 5a running GrapheneOS.
Sometimes when unlocking a profile, my groups will appear offline (even though I can confirm independently the server is online). I will get notifications for messages in those groups, and can see the messages when I actually open the group conversation, but the group still appears Offline and I am unable to send a message. Sometimes exiting and restarting Cwtch will correct this, and sometimes not.
I also have at least one contact who sometimes appears offline when I can independently verify they are online (both on another app, and on Cwtch but on a laptop) OR appears to be online (when they are indeed online) but none of their messages show up. When this happens I do not see messages from them in groups or in a direct conversation, but I will get notifications about their incoming messages. Their messages in groups show up for other members of the group.
I realize this it not an ideal bug report, more of a smattering of issues I've had since updating but hopefully it's better than nothing. Happy to try and provide more detailed information or try troubleshooting specific things if that is helpful.
Hi!
Some of what you are seeing is almost certainly related to an Android-related regression (cwtch.im/cwtch-ui#660) in 1.11. This issue has been reportedly fixed in the latest nightly (which you can get from here: https://build.openprivacy.ca/files/flwtch-2023-04-22-02-23-v1.11.0-31-ga0a3/) and is planned to be included in the upcoming 1.12 beta release.
(Details on nightly builds can be found here: https://docs.cwtch.im/docs/contribute/testing#cwtch-nightlies)
This was fixed in 1.12, 1.13 and 1.14 also contain improved connection logic
