Delete Branch "%!s(<nil>)"
Deleting a branch is permanent. Although the deleted branch may continue to exist for a short time before it actually gets removed, it CANNOT be undone in most cases. Continue?
Then the terminal does not reflect input anymore and I have to 'reset' it.
We really need to handle that panic better. I'll create a new issue for that.
I think this is caused by running an older version of Tor that doesn't support the commands needed to generate an onion address.
Can you run
tor --version
?Ah Actually, I've just realized
HTT
is probably the start ofHTTP
which means it might (also) be pointing to a system Tor process that has ControlPort pointing to the SOCKSPort...hmmm we may need to abandon trying to plug in with system Tor for now.of course! I added 'SocksPort 9051' to /etc/tor/torrc instead of 'ControlPort 9051'.
Now there's a new error:
When I stop the tor service it works:
Ah yeah, that COOKIEFILE error is the same as #87 , we need to handle system tor using cookie files instead of auth passwords.
I'm going to close this issue as I think #87 and #98 cover the panic and cookiefile issues separately.
