Currently messages, when sent to a group, don't immediately appear, but only after a (I suppose?) round-trip. The lack of feedback, having the message in limbo creates some confusion for me, "did it go through at all"?

I understand the lag itself is likely unavoidable due to Tor latency. However a possibility for improving UI would be to do similar to other messengers; show the sent message immediately but show a check-mark or such when the confirmation comes in.

Definitely :)

We actually already have code to handle this kind of feedback in the p2p side of Cwtch, should be straightforward to add it to groups too.

Implemented by #116, will be pulled into the next alpha version release (should be sometime this week) :D
