I would say the most common thing that users would do when entering the "settings" of a contact is to change/set the display name.

Currenly there's two issues with that:

changing it requires pressing the "save" icon, making it likely to exit without changing.
selecting the whole string is tedious, and since no one will ever want to keep just PART of the string, maybe auto-emptying it, or auto selecting might be helpful
