Do you mean the version number in the Finder on MacOS? Or Cwtch itself? I let Dan and Sarah know about the MacOS version inconsistancy which has persisted from version 1.2 so its on their radar. In Cwtch I have Version 1.3 in "About Cwtch".

Strange.
When you look at Cwtch settings do you see an option to turn on file sharing? And a Streamer/Presentation mode?

Mojave 10.14.1 (18B75)
Could that be related to it ?

I strongly doubt it, come to think about it. I installed 1.3 on Sept. 9 and then updated from Mojave (10.14.6) to Catalina a few days later and nothing changed. (You might try updating to 10.14.6 then doing a full uninstall of Cwtch including the Cwtch folder in application support then reinstall. Keep in mind that Mojave is now unsupported so you'll have other security issues to worry about). That still wouldn't effect what your seeing in "about Cwtch" as that is to do with the package you installed, not the OS.
All that said, if you have all the functions of 1.3 then its probably just as well to remember that Cwtch is in beta and to wait for details like version numbering to get sorted out later...like, with automated builds ;)

The stated version is build into the app at compile time. All that happened here I believe was the build script used a cached "Version" file, when I manually built 1.3 on macos. The script was more indended to be used in a one-off build container, but also maybe i can remove the caching version part until I get automation going. Totally human error here.
