Flashing UI Glitches on Void Linux with Herbstluftwm #653

Not necessarily related to either Void Linux or Herbstluftwm

and that mid-chat, apparently random squares on the screen will flash with some seizurey white/purple colors, sometimes the text boxes ill blank out, and while the other person in the chat is offline, the crossed out heart graphic is replaced with a strobing full screen of magenta for single frames

My guess here is some widgets are constantly being triggered to rebuild....should include this in the upcoming performance work.
