Accrescent is a "novel Android app store focused on security, privacy, and usability." For availability on a non-Google store, I'd suggest prioritizing Accrescent over FDroid.

In the near future, Accrescent will be available through the GrapheneOS Apps store, whereas Fdroid never will be. I'd argue that GrapheneOS is the most secure Android OS.
